This little book is meant to be a celebration of life itself. The author, Anne Marie Ginnane, wrote this collection of life remembrances after a long battle with cancer. The book, written in poetic form and dictated by strong visuals, images, and emotions, captures the memories of the writer as she reflected back on her life and the occurrences that shaped her. Centered on the four seasons and related meaningful experiences, the book encompasses personal heartfelt memories that cover a range of topics. The contents of the book, which feature an American life, are meant to be an inspiration to all who read them. Most of all, the book is a personal ode of thanksgiving to God for his healing and restorative powers.

This book is a sequel to The Songs in My Heart: Seasonal Remembrances and continues to document Anne Ginnane's journey of recovery after cancer. The book is filled with additional remembrances and memories that were defined by spiritual inspiration, guidance, and nurturance. These various experiences, acquired over a lifetime, empowered and enhanced the author's fight for healing and survival. They also reinforced lessons that encompassed the development and growth of character.
As Anne Marie learned, God is holistic in His healing and looks at every part of an individual when He heals. In healing the author, God brought to mind particular images and memories that would be considered simple in a complex world. The recollections were reminiscent of truth and harmony in an uncluttered childhood and young adulthood. They also emphasized key values that were progressive in nature and always in a shifting state of maturation. As Anne Marie struggled to return to a state of normalcy after cancer and treatments, this is the stuff that made her strong, inspired her, and gave her hope.
Mike Rowe's podcast was stories that had twists, he now spends most of his time interviewing people from all walks of life with one common denominator - Those who chose to make a difference in their life and, more importantly, in others. I was quite surprised to hear the views of Gary Sinise, Tim Allen, Gene Simmons, Rob Lowe, Bishop W.C. Martin, Dennis Quaid, and a lot of persons that many have not heard of from all professions and disciplines.
Only through action can anything be accomplished and goals be realized; trying alone achieves nothing.
There is a positive and negative in everything. Why spend time focusing on the negative when it can be turned into a positive?
All problems have more than one way of being solved, if one way doe not work, do it another way.
One can wait for the sunrise, or one can keep speed up and see the sun rise.
As said in many different ways:
Life is full of wants; if one fulfills basic needs first, wants will be filled with almost no action.
